Violence and Crime (NCJRS)  Provides the National Juvenile Justice Action Plan.

PAVNET (The Partnerships Against Violence Network) is a library of information about violence and at-risk youth that contains information from seven federal agencies.

A comprehensive package of different national outreach programs on youth violence is available on the Internet. The site includes national, federal and media programs on the subject.

Teacher Talk, published by the Center for Adolescent Studies at the School of Education, Indiana University, Bloomington, produced an entire issue devoted to exploring the problem of violence in schools.

Organizations

The Center for the Study and Prevention of Violence, operated by the Institute of Behavioral Science at the University of Colorado, Boulder, provides a wide range of information ranging from violence prevention tips to statistical data on violence in America.

Center for the Prevention of School Violence

Committee for Children - non-profit organization dedicated to the prevention of child abuse and youth violence through the development of educational curricula and original research.

National School Safety Center - provides training and resources for preventing school crime and violence.
