12 Students need to be aware of the events that are happening in their world. The best way to accomplish this is by reading the newspaper and becoming informed. Using the Internet to Express Your Voice (gr. 9-12) In this lesson, students will use the Courier Journal's internet site "Teens Let's Hear Your Smart Mouth" to voice their opinions on a current issue. Then the students will choose an issue or event and write to their Senators in Congress. |
